This weekend I took a backyard photo safari<\/a>. \u00a0As I assembled the images a story of my past life as a wife and mother of two young daughters revealed itself. \u00a0For DS106 Visual Assignment 426, Is that a ….GHOST!<\/a>\u00a0I decided to use one of the photos of an abandoned swing set to produce a new image of my daughters haunting their old playground equipment.<\/p>\n

Little Halloween Ghosts<\/p><\/div>\n

This was easy to make now that I have more experience with my photo editing software, Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. \u00a0Using an old family photo I had taken proudly showing off their Halloween costumes, I used the magic lasso tool to select what I didn’t want and deleted it from the scene. I copied the ghosts only picture as a new layer into the swing set photo. \u00a0I sized the girls appropriately for their ages in relationship to the size of the swing set. \u00a0Then reduced the opacity of the little ghosts down to 60%. New picture and assignment complete. 3 Stars for me.<\/p>\n
